| Abstract: | Productivity problems in any industrial enterprises are complicated interrelated and multi-disciplinary in nature. This case study paper briefly reviews such multifaceted problems in a food processing company and the approach used to tackle them. A summary of the recommendations suggested and the initial results obtained are included. This case study on productivity improvement in a food processing company was carried out by the author whilst in the employment of MIDF Industrial Consultants Sdn. Bhd. (MIDFIC), a management consultancy company. |
