Abstract: This paper describes the results of a survey undertaken to determine the food consumption patterns and nutrient intakes of Singapore school children. Data on foods and drinks taken in a 24 hour period by 1 239 primary four school children in nine primary schools are given. In general, it was found that the largest food group consumed was cereal and cereal products with rice as the major contributor. Green leafy vegetables were the main vegetables taken.
