Food, food habits and nutritional status

Abstract

This paper discusses the various views of researchers on the problems of food and shelter, their relationship with the politics of food and the requirement of food systems. Description on the nature of food habits found in various parts of the world, the implications for the presence of agribusiness in the third world, the nutritional status and the significance of food habits and problems of implementation of the nutritional programmes are also presented.
