Abstract: Main focus of this article is to analyze how the use of informal channels by non-state actors (such as non-governmental organizations or NGOs, institutions, mass media, think tank and other pressure groups in Japan-China society) the bridge the security conflict between Japan and China post Cold War Era. Will also be analyzed how the informal channels influence the relationship to the both of countries and influence the regional security in East Asia. Security relationship that is intended in this article include traditional security issues (military) and non-traditional security issues (non- military), based on this idea that there was a conflict or potential conflict between Japan and China includes the both aspect. The approach will be used is a combination of construcsivism and liberalism and the approach of track 2 and track 3 diplomacy. This article will examine and evaluate mechanism and influence that multitrack diplomacy. Method used was qualitative research using the library research.
