Abstract: The term dialect refers, strictly speaking, to differences between kinds of language which are differences of vocabulary and grammar as well as pronounciation, (Tradgill 1973:17). Quite often in modern linguistic usage, specialised selection of word forms of expression, distinctive of so- cial or geographical groups, registers refer to special dialects or language variation associated with particular function of professions, such as jaurnalis, law, religion and business.
