Abstract: This paper reports on the study pertaining to the effectiveness of C2HADAM, a virtual PBL package intended for the teaching and learning of Nutrition for Form Two students, in the Malaysian secondary schools using the hybrid approach. This system has been designed using the Virtual Hybrid Problem Based Learning (PBL) approach based on the Cognitivist-constructivist model. The treatment sample was exposed to the C2HADAM courseware component (using web-based multimedia courseware) and the C2HADAM Sheet (using the conventional worksheets). The control group on the other hand, was exposed to teaching and learning based on the conventional approach. A pre and post test, as well as questionnaires were administered to the students before and after the exposure, respectively. Findings of the study suggests that the hybrid PBL approach is an effective method teaching Nutrition to Form 2 secondary school students through virtual learning.
