The role of heavy industries corporation of Malaysia in the Fourth Malaysia Plan

I would like at the outset to thank the Federation of Malaysian Manufacturers for having invited me to address this distinguished audience. I take this opportunity to congratulate the Federation for having taken the initiative to organise this useful and timely conference which brings together Malaysian government ministers, senior officials and businessmen in the country to discuss this subject of importance to all of us.
