In the era of the knowledge economy, innovation and creativity is given in focus. In Vision 2020, Malaysia will be transform into a creative and innovative society. According to the literature, creativity is embeded in the social system. Creativity development and environment sustainability in education context become disguise because of neglected environment consideration and more focus on creativity component (Stables, 2009). McKeown, (2002) emphasis that higher learning are important to produce workers for green industry and less environment footprint or more sustainable in future. Infusing sustainable design approach within student's technological creativity (t-creativity) development through the engineering design course not only changing the learning environment but also developing a new kind of system thinking for more sustainability mindset. This paper will identify t-creativity and environmental sustainability for developing individual learners. The objectives are to identify the core elements of technological creativity and sustainable design approach in engineering design course. The study will employ quantitative research method and students from engineering faculty will be selected as the research sample. Prospects of this research is to encourage engineering students to apply the sustainable development principles in design process so that can ignited more green technology development for better quality of life.en_US
