How Malaysian sports ambassadors can assist in promoting Malaysian tourism

Abstract

Firstly, I would like to thank the organisers of this Conference for inviting me to be a panel member this afternoon, and I would like to thank my cousin, Tunku Iskandar, for twisting my arm to accept the invitation. Tourism has been identified by the Government, and rightly so, as a major industry to be developed. Its attributes are so obvious, that I am surprised that only in the last two years has the industry achieved the status of being a priority industry.
