Ideas on Guangxi-Vietnam economic corridor

Abstract

Leaders from Vietnam and China have reached a mutual understanding about establishing the “Two Corridors and One Ring”. Nanning-Liangshan-Henei-Haifang-Guangning Economical Corridor is a constituent of the "Two Corridors and One Ring". This paper mainly analyzes the favourable conditions, contents and meaning of building this economic corridor, recommends priority projects to be handled in the cooperation between China and Vietnam on this corridor and proposes expanding the scope of the cooperation; it also suggests how such sectors as government, scientific research and education can ensure the successful building of the corridor.
