dc.description.abstractIn Indonesia, programmes on the improvement of the nutritional status are continuously carried out together with the development in the other sectors such as, health, education, demography and population dynamics, agriculture and industry. Information on the status of food habits is seriously needed to enhance the effectiveness of the various nutrition intervention programmes. Also, basic information on the status of food habits will improve the efforts for a more effective utilization of the food resources in Indonesia through food system optimization approach, like the food diversification programmes. A progress report with emphasis on the discussion of research design, methodology and progress.en_US
