dc.description.abstractThe automotive industry in Malaysia has developed and grown at a tremendously fast pace. Proton has just celebrated its 10th production year anniversary. Its production volume per year increased from a mere 35,000 in 1985 to 165,000 in 1995. Next year proton has advised vendors to prepare for 180,000 cars for line production and another 50,000 sets for spares and CKD export.en_US
