dc.description.abstractThe main purpose of this research was to find out the effeciveness self competence development model to increase social skill of Airlangga University Student. The fact ha graduate from Airlangga University had difficulty to get their firs job, event if they have a good GPA rise a big question. What's wrong? There is another factor like self confidance, self esteem, communication ability, and ability to use their potential which colled "social skill" that not maximized. This model try to teach hem how to maximize their social skill so their self competence will improve. This research used treatment by subject design which data collected through Social Skills Scale. The subject was Airlangga University Student in third and forth grade. The number of subject was 18. The result show t score of 2.374 based on paired sample t-test technique end significant 0.03. From this research can be concluded that self competence development model is effective to increase social skill Airlangga University Student.en_US
