Abstract: Phytoremediation is a technology that is used to remove pollutants from the environment using plants. The objective of this research was to determine the percentage of lead (Pb) and zinc (Zn) removal by using Eichhornia crassipes. In this research, the plants were grown at ambient temperature 30°C with pH 6-7 for 14 days. The initial concentrations of Pb and Zn were fixed at 1.50 mg/L and 3.50 mg/L, respectively. The results indicated that Eichhornia crassipes was relatively more efficient in removing of Zn than Pb. The percentage removal of Pb was 38.87% while the percentage of Zn removal was 66.15%.
