When the Indian Hockey team made its first ever visit to Malaysia in 1954, they played 16 matches and scored 121 goals against us. On their second visit to our country 10 years later they played 4 matches. They won 2, drew one and lost 1 scoring eight goals and conceding one. Since 1954, we have qualified to participate in 5 olympics and 3 World Cup Hockey Championships.
