| Abstract: | The inclusion of the topic "Women and Sports in South East Asia" in this regional seminar on physical education and sports is a clear manifestation of an increasing recognition being given to the multifarious roles of women in the social, political, cultural and economic life of our society and nations. I, there fore, on behalf of the women in physical education and sports in the Philippines and, in particular, the Philippines Association of Physical Education and Sports for Girls and Women, and of the Philippines Olympic Committee, congratulate the organizers of this seminar. |
