This paper will attempt to outline some suggestions relating to the development of a programme for oral history projects on the national level. The proposal could be applied to developing countries, but in this paper, for obvious reasons, it will be based upon Malaysia. I would like to stress that this plan is merely hypothetical but some elements of it could be uitlised or implemented. However, the ensuing discussion will give food for thought.en_US
