Archives materials and oral history in historical research

Abstract

There is obviously a distinction be t ween ' archives' and ' records' , but the word ' archives' mentioned in this paper refers to both terms. Though the materials might took in various type of forms, the process Which took part in its creating might find general acceptance. That the basic function of producing papers in government institutions is to make institutional activities tractable. This practical and official reason then brings those papers into current use that we called them ' records '.
