dc.description.abstractThe Bureau of Records Management known as the National Archives of the Philippines contributed to the development and progress in the field of History and the preservation of the cultural heritage of the nation . On January 27 , 1969 at the opening of the seventh Congress of the Republic of the Philippines, President Marcos in his state of the Nation Address cited the accomplishment of the Bureau of Records Management to wit :"Our Archival material now safely housed in the National Library Building, are being processed, catalogued and microfilmed for the use of scholars researchers. This serve a long-felt need of Filipino scholarship."en_US
