Understanding the non-Muslim students' mind about the Quran: reflection on the contemporary method of daawah among the non-Muslims

Abstract

Research has been conducted to see the effect of the dakwah using the method of Scientific Miracle of the Qur'an toward the non-Muslim students' perception. Non-Muslim students from three faculties participated in the research. They were exposed to the scientific miracle of the Qur'an which were presented to them by using the power point. Quranic verses containing the scientific statement with the scientific research finding were presented and explained to them. After the presentation they were asked to respond to questionnaires. The finding indicates that 61 % of the respondents were amazed with the Qur'an.
