Distributed Generation or simply known as DG is a small-scale of generators installed in distribution system. Installation of DG has many advantages and one of them is to reduce the loss of power. However, these advantages can only be obtained if location and size of the DG are selected appropriately. There are various methods that have been introduced to solve the problem for coordination (placement and size) of the DG. Meta-heuristic is one of the popular methods to solve I this problem due to robust and easy to implement. This paper presents hybrid optimization which is Artificial Immune Bee Colony (AIBC) method to solve the coordination problem. The effectiveness of the proposed method is compared with Artificial Bee Colony (ABC). Simulation results show that the AIBC converge faster than the ABC in solving the DG coordination problem.en_US
