Abstract: "Ilm A-lma’ani" acquires great importance in learning the Arabic language, because it helps to understand the aspects of rhetoric and the miracles in the Holy Qur’an. and these challenges may be related to the difficulty of this science or to the learner himself. Therefore, learning strategies were of great importance in learning because it leades in learning and mastering language. This study aims to identify the learning strategies that non-native speakers of Arabic language use in their learning of Ilm alma’ani and reveal their preferred strategies, and search for relationships between using these strategies and language achievement and analyze the impact of their using on language achievement. The descriptive approach was followed in its two styles: the analytical and the case study, and the two research tools were adopted: the questionnaire to reveal these strategies, and the test to measure language achievement in Ilm alma’ani. The study sample consisted of 76 male and female students, who are Malaysian students enrolled in the Department of Arabic Language at Yarmouk University at the undergraduate level and were chosen by the purposive method. The results were analyzed using the (SPSS 28) program, by Simple descriptive analysis consisting of frequency distribution and percentages and inferential analysis consisting of Pearson's relationship and simple linear regression. the results of the study showed that the students use Ilm alma’ani learning strategies in their three categories: implicit learning strategies, explicit inductive learning strategies, and explicit deductive learning strategies, with high and consistent rates; They prefer some of these strategies over others. Using implicit learning strategies was in the first rank, then, explicit inductive learning strategies was in the second rank, then strategies of explicit deductive learning was in the third rank; The results also revealed a statistically significant relationship between Ilm alma’ani learning strategies and the sample's language achievement at the significance level (0.05); And that strategies for learning the science of Ilm alma’ani have an impact on language achievement. It is hoped that this study will contribute to facilitie the learning of Ilm alma’ani in particular and Arabic rhetoric in general for non-native speakers of Arabic.
