We have proposed a speech-to-text visualization technique in the foreign language learning system, which is one of the interactive tools for the learners by forming the speech data into the animated text. The technique can help the learners in learning the correct pronunciation and confirming their pronunciation. In this study, we focused on the media conversion process between speech attribute information and text attribute information by matching the information using AHP (Analytic Hierarchy Process). In the AHP, the pairwise comparison between the attributes of speech information such as paralinguistic and nonlinguistic information and the attributes of text information such as text motion, size, etc. were conducted. From the AHP evaluation results, we determined the ideal matching elementsfor eachtype of information and the effectiveness of the AHP method in the conversion process was evaluateden_US
