Description: In practice there are still many challenges relating to the Law and health issues in Indonesia and Malaysia. This is due to weak enforcement which is not fully realized. The law and system will function well if related health issues are analyzed to find solutions to overcome the problem. The comparative method is adopted by the researcher in an attempt to compare the law and the health systems in Indonesia and Malaysia. This is a qualitative study using socio-legal methods that include data collection, literature review and questionnaire. Research findings shows that the comparative method can be used to identify shortcomings and weaknesses in the laws, health systems and existing issues so that by knowing the shortcomings and weaknesses it can complement each other in providing suggestions for improvement not only in the law but also the health systems in both Indonesia and Malaysia,Ph.D.
