Description: This study identifies the methods of parental treatment of mothers from the Libyan community in Malaysia and their relation to the irrational parental thoughts on the one hand and the behavioral problems of children in early childhood on the other hand. The study aims at identifying the relationship between mothers' awareness of parenting that embodied in their irrational thoughts with the parental treatment methods followed by them to address the behavioral problems of children under seven years old. The approaches applied in this study are quantitative and a survey. Actual data analysis involving descriptive statistic and inference statistic are to generate inference and generalization for a particular party. The descriptive data used are to elaborate the frequency, percentage, mean and the standard deviation which involved the data from respondents' demographic and test. The data was analysed using Statistical Package for Social Science (SPSS) version 23. Inference statistic testing was using MANOVA test, Pearson's correlation, T Test, and Chi Square. The researcher developed the utilized instruments to measure children's behavioral problems, the scale of parental treatment methods as understood by mothers, the scale of irrational thoughts about parenthood. The study includes a sample of 251 Libyan mothers in Malaysia selected in a simple random way. The results revealed that children do not suffer from behavioral problems in early childhood and that their behavior is normally relative to early childhood. The Libyan mothers' method fluctuates between the normal and the abnormal techniques. Their strategy was bossy and overprotected with their children. Most Libyan mothers adopt irrational thoughts about (excess protection, permanent anxiety, and parental au-thoritarianism). The results showed a direct correlation between the methods of abnor-mal parental treatment and children's behavioral problems. There is also a positive re-lationship between mothers' treatment methods and their irrational thoughts about parenthood. The results also showed differences in some behavioral problems for males and some parental treatment methods for females. There are also differences related to the mother's job and her educational variant and educational level in favor of students and higher educated mothers. There were differences in some irrational thoughts about parenthood attributed to mothers' work and their academic level for employed mothers and those at the preparatory and university levels. The study recommended that some actions to be taken to sensitize mothers about treating children in early childhood.,Ph.D
