Description: | Kajian ini menyentuh satu sudut yang penting dalam bidang ekonomi Islam, iaitu perkembangan bank-bank Islam dan kejayaannya memberikan perkhidmatanperkhidmatan kewangan bertaraf tinggi dan sentiasa berdaya maju, berbanding dengan bank-bank konvensional yang selama ini menguasai pasaran. Permasalahan kajian tertumpu pada tiadanya kajian yang mendalam bagi menilai dan mendefinisikan piawai penentu kejayaan bank-bank Islam di Jordan. Antara objektif kajian ini ialah menjelaskan penunjuk-penunjuk kejayaan institusi-institusi perbankan Islam secara umum, dan di Jordan secara khusus, serta faktor-faktor perkembangannya. Pengkaji bergantung pada metode kajian kepustakaan serta menganalisis data-data kewangan yang dihimpunkan. Pengkaji menyentuh tentang bank-bank Islam serta faktor-faktor kejayaannya, sebagaimana pengkaji turut melakukan analisis terhadap data-data kewangan Bank Islam Jordan (89 رد < ا 8>?@A ا BCDE ا) dan Bank Arab Islam Antarabangsa )8E وHE ا 8>?@A ا 8IJKE ا BCDE ا), serta menjelaskan sejauh mana perkembangan yang dilalui oleh kedua-dua bank tersebut dalam memberikan perkhidmatan kewangan dan menerangkan tentang peranan faktor syarak dalam menjayakan operasi bank-bank ini. Akhirnya pengkaji menjelaskan beberapa penemuan dan hasil daripada kajian ini, antaranya: kemampuan bank-bank Islam bersaing dengan bank-bank konvensional, bahkan mengatasinya; kepentingan peranan badan-badan pengawasan syariah dalam merealisasikan kejayaan bank-bank Islam tersebut; dan peranan pemasaran perbankan Islam dalam menyokong kejayaan ini. Akhirnya, pengkaji mencadangkan agar peranan badan pengawasan syariah di bank-bank Islam dipertingkatkan, serta perhatian yang utama hendaklah diberikan kepada proses peningkatan modal insan di bank-bank tersebut agar ia dapat memberikan pelbagai perkhidmatan perbankan Islam yang berdaya saing.,The thesis dealt with the most important aspect of Islamic economy, that is the emergence of Islamic banks and their success in providing finance services at highest level of their development compared with the established conventional banks which are flourish in this field. The problematic statement of the research is the absent of any indept study to define the accurate measures of evaluation on the success of Islamic banks in Jordan. The objectives of the thesis were to explain the indicators of success in the institutions of Islamic banking in general and Jordan in particular together with their development factors. The methods of study employed by the researcher are library research and finance data analysis on collected materials. The researcher dealt with Islamic banks and their factors of success, as well as he has also analyzed the financing data from Islamic banking of Jordan and Arab International Islamic Bank, and he has explained the extent of development in financing accomplishment of both banks. He also elaborated the shar'iy factors and its functions for the success of those banks. The findings of the research were:the ability of Islamic banks in their competition with conventional banks.the importance of Shariah advisory( supervising) committee in ensuring their success as well as the functions of Islamic finance marketing to support this success. Lastly the researcher made suggestions that the function of Shariah advisory Committee in Islamic banks must be activated, and special attention must be given on human capital development in those banks in order to provide variety and competitive Islamic finance services.,Phd |
