| Description: | This study addresses the art of Jinas al-ishtiqaq (derivation alliteration/assonance) in the chapters of the Noble Qur'an, the jinas comes from the homogeneity of one syllable with another, because of their similarity or connection in one or more linguistic elements, apart from their derivation from one language root, due to Arabic rhetoric scholars lacking in a profound analysis underlining its rhetoric significance and its beauties in the Qur'anic text. Thus, this study intends to explain the significance of jinas al-ishtiqaq in the Nobel Qur'an completely, examine Qur'anic verses containing jinas al-ishtiqaq as can be found in the Nobel Qur'an, and analyze them methodologically, in order to expose its rhetoric significance and explanative meanings. This study relies on two approaches, deductive approach in extracting some information from its sources and critical descriptive approach in analyzing and explaining the Qur'anic verses according to their rhetoric significances. To sum up, jinas al-ishtiqaq al-mughayir (contrasting derivation alliteration/assonance) are more present than jinas al-ishtiqaq al-mumathil(comparable derivation assonance). The numbers of the verses containing jinas al-ishtiqaq al-mughayiris beyond Ninety verses distributed among forty two Qur'anic chapters whereas the verses containing jinas al-ishtiqaq al-mutamathil surpass forty verses distributed among twenty chapters. Jinas al-ishtiqaq al-mughayiris more presented either between noun and verb or between verb and noun, than its presence between two nouns or two verbs. This study helps a knowledge seeker understand the verses covering jinas al-ishtiqaq al-mumathil and al-mughayir, the difference of jinas al-isthiqaq from other types of jinas and remove the ambiguity around the repetition in the Nobel Qur'an.,Certification of Master's / Doctoral Thesis" is not available |
