dc.description.abstractIn term of the country's exports for 1986 and 1987 we saw total amount of 4.56 million and 4.22 million tonnes palm oil (inclusive cpo) respectively. From the recent PORAM seminar on "Marketing and Trading Aspects of Palm Oil held in April 1988: a paper on the challenges in the marketing of Malaysian palm oil ahead given by En Mamat Bin Salleh of PORLA, we learnt that export availabilities for the two (2) immediate years are simply 4,488 and 4.769 million tonnes for 1988 end 1989. By 1995 it is stated that there would be 6.109 and the year 2000 7.137 million tonnes palm oil available for export .en_US
