It is widely recognized that globalization has an immense impact on the economic and development of several countries. The crisis of high level manpower shortage and unemployment in some fields are considered to be an obstacle for development. Many countries, including Thailand, are faced with a mismatch between the number of graduates and the demand for manpower of the industry, in terms of quality and quantity. University - industry linkage is therefore very necessary for the educational development and employment promotion. It is also one of the strategic directions for higher education reform.en_US
