The aim of this study was to determine the relationship of strategic management and involvement in co-curricular activities. In addition, this study also determined whether there are significant relationships between the strategic management domains such as strategic analysis, strategic formulation, strategic staff development and evaluation, and examined whether there are significant differences of mean scores in the strategic management of co-curricular activities based on demographic factors. The samples consisted of school administrators and teachers. A total of 195 respondents from 6 secondary schools in PPG Kuching and 248 respondents from 6 secondary schools in PPD Padawan have been identified as research samples and they are selected through systematic random sampling process. Data collected through the questionnaires which was developed and modified by the researcher from several previous instruments to suit with the research purposes. This questionnaire has been tested and it has high validity and reliability level. Descriptive statistics i.e. percentage, frequency, mean and standard deviation was used to answer the research questions. On the other hand, the inferential statistics such as t-test, pearson correlation and one-way ANOVA was applied to test the hypothesis. The result of the t-test showed no significant difference between the strategic management of co-curricular activities based on the factors. One-way ANOVA showed no significant difference between strategic management based on service experience (F = 1.784). Pearson correlation test showed a positive correlation between the strategic management domains. The results of this study indicated that strategic management in the implementation of co-curricular activities have a positive relationship in relation to involvement in co-curricular activities (r = 0.665). The study also showed that secondary schools need the knowledge and skills in strategic management, which led to a comprehensive implementation of strategic management.,Sarjana Pendidikan
