In the past seven years UKM through the Institute of Occidental Studies (IKON) and the International Relations Office have made great strides in forging substantive relations with various partners in the Latin American countries.The International Seminar/Workshop Series on Latin American and Asian Studies, better known as LASA, is one of the Flagships of UKM. LASA 1, LASA 2 and LASA 3 were organized by IKON in 2008, 2010, and 2012 respectively. |
