dc.description.abstractThe purposes of this research have shown as following: I) To study methods and approaches of depression therapy for Thai university students. 2) To develop music therapyprograms in order to reduce depression for Thai university students. J) To experiment the music therapy programs in order to reduce depression for Thai university students. The sample groups that has been applied in this researching are as following: I) Theory, methodology, documents and relating researches 2) Experts in the field of clinical psychology, scholars and/or persons who have experience in management and/or depression therapy, also experimental units totally seventeen persons 3) Sample groups of twelve volunteer Chulalongkorn university students who were selected both specifically and randomly into each group of depression stages. Researching tools composed as following; I. The main tools for studying each researching objective. 2. The tools for studying and experimenting in music therapy program. The data has been collected by recording in survey forms, interview forms, content analysis forms, and expertise analysis forms. The data analysis has been divided into three sections as following I. Analysis of problem status of depression in Thai university students mainly applies content analysis. 2. Analysis and synthesis of music therapy programs in order to reduce depression in Thai university students applies both content analysis and expertise analysis. 3. Analysis of experimental results on music therapy programs for reducing depression in Thai university students applies general data analysis derived from sample groups by using frequency and percentage, also, standard deviation (S.D.) in order to compare the differences of mean and the expansion of severe stages on depression period before and after experimenting, thereafter, applies quality research in order to analyze and compare the severe stage individually.en_US
