Abstract: | The labour force plays a crucial role in the economic development of a nation, and particularly, the quality of a nation's labour force is a major factor. Among other characteristics of the labour force which are considered as important to the development process, perhaps the more important ones are (a ) skills and aptitude of the labour force, (b) their educational qualifications, (c) the state of their health, (d) their ambitions and (e) their readiness to adopt new ideas and methods. |
