Abstract

Due to the high confidentiality of letters are increasing as an official or non official corresponding tool globally, current users seek for an alternative method which enables them to be on their toes each time a mail is delivered. In our daily life, receiving new mails or letters is common where by this letters are usually placed in the user's mailbox and most users have to speculatively or periodically check their mailbox contents. In most events, the users are neglectful on checking their mailbox and this at times may lead towards the ignorance of important letters which will results in various miseries. Such scenario is quite common for users staying or working in multi story buildings such as apartments, condominiums, office buildings etc. The limited visits to check or collect their letters due to the centralize mailbox location is the down fall on this issue. Users find convenient to be on alert of mails they receive to overwrite the conventional method of checking mailbox. This could be practical by implementing the state of the art electronics technology which is incorporated into these conventional mailboxes as a solution. the programmable logic controller, interface module and GSM modem can be easily incorporated by connecting the user's mailbox with the user???s. As mails are delivered into the users mailbox, the system will automatically generate an alert which is send in the form of a short message system or email that typically details the real time of mail delivery. The letter compartment alert system via sms or email is designed to ease human life by notifying the users about important new mails teaching their mailbox. This is likely to be a fast growing and popular application for short messaging system and email towards the mankind.
