dc.description.abstract | This study analyzed the secterol perception and difference of role conflict and role ambiguity with job satisfaction and organizational commitment. This study was conducted with employees from both public and private sector firms in the Mediterranean Region of Turkey. The data gathered from 219 employees was analyzed to test the three hypotheses of the study. Findings indicated that role conflict, role ambiguity, job satisfaction and organizational commitment are different to in public and private sector. This study concluded that managers must reduce the level of role conflict and role ambiguity if they want to increase job satisfaction and organizational commitment. As a result, organizational performance and effectiveness could be further improved. In addition, this study recommends that similar research be conducted on various employee groups to expand the antecedents and outcomes of role conflict and role ambiguity. | - |
