dc.description.abstract | Many devices which we use today are based on Bluetooth technology. Due to the needs for higher data storage in many gadgets such as smartphone, laptop and others, a flash drive is required so it can store additional data. But, the lack of universal data connector in many gadgets cause the transfer of data to be troublesome. The aim of this research is to study the Bluetooth as a universal data connector by creating a prototype and conducting experiment with the prototype to test its performance. This research consists of three stages. The first stage is to design a prototype which is the requirement of this research. The second stage is a confirmatory test of the prototype regarding its functionality. The third stage is to test the performance of the prototype whether it can achieve the desired result. The implication of this research is that bluetooth technology can revolutionise data storage. It can serve as the main choice for secured data storage. Bluetooth technology can be utilized as a new networking platform. In conclusion, success of this study will create an alternative for data transfer other than the USB port. | - |
