dc.description.abstract | End-user programming is becoming more popular and is predicted to be the main programming approach of the future. The main aim of this research is to develop a general-purpose end-user programming system called the block-based programming system. A block is basically a single layer software component that can be integrated with other blocks without the need for writing programming codes. This research involves development of blocks identification, testing and integrating methodologies; and software tools for creating and integrating blocks. | - |
