Abstract: Issues on the pollution in Jakarta Bay waters has been discussedfor long time. Approach on the pollution ofa water can be seen from the eutrophication level of the waters, where the one of its indicators is transparency level. The results of this research used Landsat Satellite Data, since, 1972 to 200B, the transparency level of Jakarta bay waters has been radically degradation from B.9 m to 4 m within 30 years. This paper will discuss the eutrophication process in Jakarta bay waters.
