dc.description.abstractPhytochemical study on the leaves of Alseodaphne perakensis obtained from Sungkai, Perak has been conducted. The separations of the chemical components were carried out by various chromatography techniques and their structures were elucidated by spectroscopic methods including nuclear magnetic resonance as well as gas chromatography-mass spectrometry. Two alkaloids were isolated which were identified as sebiferine and norsebiferine.-
