dc.description.abstractA triterpenoid, 2,3-dihydroxy-12-0Ieanen-28-oic had been isolated the first time of the chloroform extract from bark ofKleinhovia hospita L. (Paliasa) together with 7-hydroxy- 6-methoxy coumarin and j3-sitosterol. The structure of this compound were determined on the basis of spectroscopic evidence including JR, IH NMR and /3C NMR spectra. Cytotoxic effects of the isolated compounds against murine leukemia P-388 cells showed activities with JC50 15.0 ug/mL.-
