dc.description.abstract | At present, the availability of the computer and Internet is crucial for one to access information and learn continuously. Even though learning materials could still be delivered via mail, the use of online facilities such as the website, portals and communication tools will ensure that learning can be done at anytime, anyplace by anyone. The online facilities also enable the delivery of multimedia learning materials that have been proven to assist and enliven the learning process and cater for different learning styles. This paper presents a collection scholars and researchers on educational practice completed by Malaysian scholars and researchers pertaining to the use of online facilities for lifelong learning. The paper aims to address issues related to the concept and definitions of online lifelong learning and an overview of the practices of using computer technology in delivering teaching and learning materials at selected universities in Malaysia. | en_US |
