dc.description.abstractA field trip was conducted on 16-18 March 2016 in Durian Tunggal, Malacca to collect the biological control agent of Salvinia Molesta, a Weevil, Cyrtobagous Salviniae. This field trip was participated by the Department of Agriculture Sabah, Department of Agriculture Malaysia and a non-governmental organization (Forever Sabah). During this field trip, a total of 180 C. Salviniae was successfully captured and transported to the Agricultural Research Center, Tuaran, Sabah. The C. Salviniae are currently under post-entry quarantine observation and the effort to rear them is currently on going in a rearing facility constructed at the Agricultural Research Center, Tuaran, Sabah.en_US
