Ganoderma a wood decaying fungi with hard fruiting bodies belong to the family of Polyporaceae (Ganodermataceae). Among all Ganoderma species, Ganoderma Boninense, a white rot fungus is well known as a pathogen in Oil Palm Plantation. Infection by G. Boninense led to Basal Stem Rot (BSR) Disease. To date, Ganoderma is one of the most devastating Pathogens causing major losses in oil Palm yield in Southeast Asia. The potential of certain metabolites from G. Boninense for medicinal Purpose has been reported previously. However, understanding the presence of its metabolites might be useful for fundamental studies on their pathogenicity, infection, for disease control and for drug development. Therefore, this paper discusses some metabolites that presence in chloroform extract of G. Boninese provides some fundamental information about G. Boninense.en_US
