Until relatively recently, air pollution has never been regarded as a problem for Malaysia. However, following rapid growth of urbanization and industries especially during the last 10 years, the problem of air pollution has now become more urgent. For certain places and during certain times, the problem can even be described as serious. The present paper outlines very briefly some of the current air pollution problems in Malaysia and examines research results that have since come to hand and their implications on air quality management strategies.en_US
