Many Studies have examined the link between managers, leadership style and outcomes at the organizational and personal level. This study builds on the existing literature to propose three hypotheses about how managers' leadership style related to their organizations' productivity in terms of public managers' perspective. Multi source approach is used to collect survey data from 314 public managers of state run organization in Guilan Province if Iran. A person and multiple correlation coefficient and descriptive methods used to analysis collected data. The finding supports a direct and positive link between style of leadership that has been labeled as "transformational- transactional" and productivity. Furthermore this study found that managers' experience along with leadership style was positively related to productivity. While, correlation between leadership style and outcomes does not depend on managers' Sex. The former studies are found to have a significant relation with outcomes, and performance.en_US
