Abstract: | The world economic pattern results from the mutual influence and effect among key economic powers of the world. The world economic pattern has experienced the transition from the bi-polar pattern to the multi-polar pattern after the World War II. With globalization of world economy and integration of regional economy, world's leading economic powers disintegrate or unite, decline or grow, and the world economic pattern will give rise to a situation of "three lands of stability", namely the European Free Trade Zone, Asian Free Trade Zone and American Free Trade Zone. The formation of this pattern significantly depends on the progress of Asia's regional economic cooperation, the key of which is China, Japan and India. The attitude of these three countries will directly determine the prospects of Asia's regional economic cooperation and in turn determine whether Asia can become the new "third pole" of the world economy. |
