Every period in the history of the World has witnessed social changes: during some periods a great many changes have taken place, while at other times society has remained almost static. The first half of the present century has been fraught with greater social, political and economic changes than has any other period in the World's history. The events which accompanied these changes have brought into existence many problems and raised many questions. The changes that are now taking place over the entire world are sure to create many more problems in the field of social, political and economic activities of man.en_US
