| Abstract: | Computer based information system that store, retrieve and analyze data according to ither their location or attribute values have enjoyed continually increasing popularity with the management. Implementing a GIS has brought a direct impact to the organization. This paper intend to highlight some of the management issues that were sometimes overlooked during the implementation of GIS. Based on a survey and research carried out by ITM in 1991, the paper also discusses other failure and success factors at a GIS site. |
