Abstract: 1.1 The ALRS is a prime source in supplying information to the Land Information System (LIS). However the ALRS, only manages the information from alienated land. Therefore a few subsystems that could contribute to the information for non-alienated land should be develop as part of LIS. The proposed sub-system include Land Inventory System, Temporary Occupation Licence System and Quit Rent System. 1.2 The proposal for the ALRS is based on recommendations from a Feasibility Study presented in March, 1989 by The Central Board For Real Estate Data, (CFD) of Sweden. The ALRS should be based on the manual system, therefore the fundamental principles of the Torren's system, should be followed.
