dc.description.abstractBorneo Rainforest Lodge (BRL) is a new destination for nature tourism located in primary rainforest in eastern Sabah. Scheduled to open in mid-1994, BRL is owned and managed by Innoprise Corporation Sdn Bhd, which is the commercial arm of Yayasan Sabah (Sabah Foundation). As a statutory body with custodial rights over a forest concession of almost one million hectares, Yayasan Sabah is in an unique position to undertake a commercial tourism project of this kind on public land.en_US
